Bio continued...

During the following years I was awarded a scholarship and I began classes at the Chicago Art Institute whereby general drawing and life-study gave me a good foundation. I continued with my studies easing into painting and color. Private teachers guided my pursuits. But always exploring nature and me relationship to her subtleties and her outburst of energy. I understood my place as student under the teacher - principle. I became bonded in the family being careful to borrow her gifts and assume a humility while standing in the shadow of the greatest source. With this in mind I derive great pleasure in the knowledge that someone can find and share this identification with me.
